As Lent approaches, I want you to consider joining us for five evenings to explore how we understand our “story” and how we “fit into God’s plan”. 

John Buck and I would like to lead you through a series of discussions around key points in the Bible that can help us to connect with the Bible story and our story. In doing so, we hope you will come to understand how you fit in with God's plan. We will be using material gathered from Being With, written by Samuel Wells. We have a special licence to use this material from PLSclear Ref No: 113997.

Each discussion has a simple format

• Wonderings: 3 or 4 questions we will ask you to think about before the meeting
• Bible reading: A specific scripture to focus our thoughts
• Talk: A 15 talk on the subject
• Discussion and reflection: a time to share our views.

We will meet in Church House on a Tuesday at 7:00 pm we grab a drink and it runs for approximately 1.5 hours. 

The dates are: 

Discussion One: Genesis and Siblings 24th February  

Discussion Two: Exodus and Law 3rd March

Discussion Three: Daniel and Exile 10th March 

Discussion Four: Luke and Incarnation 17th March

Discussion Five: John and Resurrection 24th March
